Camper Calling Warwickshire

Written by Chris Sanders

Each summer the rise in festivals is meteoric. Small, niche affairs right through to huge, all encompassing gatherings. There truly is something for everyone.

Coventry has just said goodbye to the Godiva Festival and MADE Birmingham is about to kick-off. In-between these iconic Midlands events is a trail of food, drink, craft, family and cultural extravaganzas but it’s Camper Calling that’s caught our eye.

Set in the beautiful grounds of Ragley Hall, Warwickshire, Camper Calling provides three nights of exhilarating Bank Holiday madness. From the big hitters including Reef, Cast and the Lightening Seeds right through to craft workshops, lake activities and some seriously tasty food & drink.

As the name suggests, there’s a hint of camping involved throughout the weekend and there’s various experiences to be had. From ‘As you like it’ camping to limited edition VIP options exclusive for 2017. However, if the comforts of home your bag then day passes can be purchased.

Camper Calling has a line-up that sends us back to the 90’s with Space and the Ordinary Boys supporting the ‘Britpoppers’ above. Clean Cut Kid, Josh Kumra and April Keen are ones to catch on the Freshly Squeezed stage.

Other interactive activities include Ras King Bobo 1 – African Dance Classes and Professor Elmo’s Panic Family Circus.

If you are looking for a fully emersive festival experience then you’ll be hard pushed to beat Camper Calling.
