Amadeus Long at the Kenilworth Arts Festival
The UK’s leading young street photographer, Amadeus Long, has been chosen by Kenilworth Arts Festival to be the opening exhibition of the week long extravaganza in Warwickshire.
Amadeus Long’s self-titled show and first ever exhibition Amadeus Long (17 – 23 September 2017) will be the only photography exhibition at the Kenilworth Arts Festival, with all images available for sale via The Gallery in Kenilworth (7 Smalley Place, CV8 1QG).
“I’m incredibly honoured and excited to be able to share with people in real life my work and who I am as a photographer. There’ll be some of my famous shots taken in and around Chernobyl, and other photographs from my trips abroad, as well as some of my favourite images from the streets of London.”
Amadeus Long is the photographer of the modern age – taking all his photographs on his cameraphone and posting them on Instagram. Anyone can take a photograph on their phone, but no-one takes a photograph like Amadeus Long. He is amongst the first batch of Instagram sensations to be respected as an artist in their own right.
Awarded Artist Of The Month by CreativeDebuts, in January 2016, Amadeus Long has been consistently recognised for his talents by leading industry opinion formers online. He has been featured by Bnw_Rose, Shutup_London, Top Bow and Show Us Bnw.
His @AmadeusLong Instagram account has amassed over 16,700 followers, amongst whom can be found the world leading photography brand Kodak (@KodakPhones).
“Amadeus Long is a great example of the exciting artists we have at this year’s edition of the Kenilworth Arts Festival. With his striking imagery and humorous take on everyday life,he appeals to audiences young and old”,says Lewis Smith the festival’s chairperson.
In its second year, the Kenilworth Arts Festival is a celebration of art, innovation and community transforming Kenilworth into a hive of creative exploration and inspiration.
